You have probably seen our model Tara on the homepage slider of our online store as well as in various Attic photographs. We asked her a few questions about personal style and music, check it out!
How would you describe your personal style?
I like to be very comfortable. Some people describe me as “hippie” but I like to describe my style as “flowy.” I’ve actually recently been into prints and color. A flowy, loose top paired with leggings and boots all tied together with some jewelry is my ideal outfit.
What is your favorite outfit or item of clothing to wear?
Oh this is a tough question. Working in a clothing store, my favorite item is constantly changing, haha! Lately I would say it’s anything leopard print.
Who inspires your fashion sense? This can be designers or people you know.
Well “vintage” isn’t really a designer but I’m always inspired by vintage and vintage styles. I’m also into Mary-Kate Olsen and always into Marc Jacobs.
What are your favorite brands to wear?
I’ve always liked Free People but I mostly wear a lot of vintage. I don’t really have a favorite, I just kind of go by style rather than brand.
If you were to go to a fancy dinner party, what is something you might wear?
Probably a fabulous vintage dress or outfit that I never get to wear, haha!
What kind of music or artists do you like to listen to?
I would have to say The Grateful Dead, The Talking Heads. Rolling Stones, Disco Biscuits, Usher, and Beyonce.
What do you like to do for fun when you’re not working?
Go for walks, yoga, read, travel when I have time.
