DIY: Button Up! Make Cute Earrings From Vintage Buttons

NEW DIY PROJECT! TODAY WE’RE GOING TO SHOW YOU HOW TO MAKE SOME EASY AND AFFORDABLE EARRINGS THAT ARE PERFECT FOR ANY OCCASION.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:

The earrings backings came from the same starter kit used in the Cereal Box Earrings project. You can use any buttons you want, usually flea markets have some interesting ones that are cheap. Use fancy ones to jazz up an outfit or casual ones, like these, for any day.

Crumple the tin foil into a ball about 1 1/2" to 2" in diameter.

Push the button into the tin foil enough so that button does not come out easily.

Put a dab of glue on the flat part of the earring backing, try not to get glue on your hands. Sorry about the blurry picture!

let the glue dry for a minute before removing the earring from the tin foil.

Now let the glue dry. It should not take too long, but just in case, I left them for 10 minutes before touching them.

Now you can wear them! These buttons remind me of a picnic blanket 🙂
